A busy intersection next to a Westchester elementary school has reopened after a crash.

The intersection of Harrison Avenue (Route 127) and Union Avenue next to the Harrison Avenue Elementary School is now open after it was briefly closed following a crash on Friday afternoon, June 21, Harrison Police announced.

The crash resulted in downed power lines at the intersection, the department added.

The closure caused delays during school pick-up.
